Guided Walking Tours

Grant Park: Trees, Trails, History and Architecture

After careful consultation and in full accordance with federal, state, and City of Atlanta guidance, directives and orders, the Atlanta Preservation Center has postponed all scheduled walking tours and events indefinitely. When events are postponed or rescheduled, you will be contacted via email with the new event information as soon that information is available. Unless notified otherwise, your tickets will be valid for the new event date or for any other future Atlanta Preservation Center tour. Atlanta Preservation Center\'s guided walking tours make a physical connection with the City\'s historical places. History is more than dates and facts, and our guides make it come alive through these walking tours.

All of the tours you see offered here are led by our dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers. These are individuals with a passion for preservation and Atlanta that they love to share with others. The Atlanta Preservation Center is very thankful for their gifts and support. If you would like information about becoming a guide, please contact David Mitchell, Director of Operations.

Outdoor Guided Walking Tours are available March through November.

 

Historic Tour Admission

     $13 for Adults
     $7 for Students and for Seniors (65+)

     Free admission for current APC Members.  Contact APC at (404) 688-3353 for your free member reservation.

 

Reservations are required. We kindly ask that you please book or cancel no later than 48 hours in advance. Members must contact the APC to schedule a tour; for all other reservations, please visit our website.

 

Tours subject to cancellation at guides’ discretion due to inclement weather at the tour start point.  For parties of 20 or more, please visit the Private Group Tours page for more information.
