Enjoy a complimentary visit to one of Atlanta’s unique attractions. The Battle of Atlanta, once known as Logan’s Great Battle, was painted over two years (1885- 1886) by a team of 11 artists,toured the States and had several owners before it was installed in an elegant fire proof building in Grant Park in 1921. The world’s largest oil painting is complimented by the Civil War History Museum and the Texas, the locomotive of the Great Locomotive Chase of 1862.
