Auburn & Edgewood Avenues Commercial District / Sweet Auburn
Many historic places throughout the City are endangered. APC's Advocacy Committee compiles a biennial list to highlight important historic buildings, districts and landscapes that are in danger due to threat of demolition, poor condition, neglect, alterations, poor maintenance, redevelopment pressures, governmental policies and regulations or lack of funds.
All of the places highlighted by this list are significant assets that are in need of the community’s attention. Every effort is made to give accurate information about the places on these lists. Some properties are on several lists and some on only one.
This list was first produced by the APC in 2001. The listings here are complete for 2011 and 2009. Prior years will be updated as soon as possible.
Please click on the red highlighted dates above to sort the properties by the year they were listed.
