Buckhead in Bloom to Grow for 2013

April 9, 2012

Following two successful key special events, the Sidney Lanier Monument Restoration Celebration and The Phoenix Flies: A City-Wide Celebration of Living Landmarks, the Atlanta Preservation Center’s Board of Trustees has postponed the APC’s 2012 annual house and garden tour, Buckhead in Bloom.

The Atlanta Preservation Center has long used house and garden tours to highlight Atlanta’s historic homes and to raise operating funds. There have been candlelight tours, tours that demonstrate particular styles and those that take place in specific neighborhoods. Recently, tours have been in Buckhead and have presented the homes and gardens of the beautifully laid out streets of Peachtree Heights West. The name of the home tour, Buckhead in Bloom, reflects this focus.

Dates for the 2013 Buckhead in Bloom are planned for the first weekend in May. APC looks forward to hosting an even more successful event on May 3 and 5, 2013.
